Amherst Schools Alumni & School History Room
located inside Marion L. Steele High School
With the closing of the original Powers Elementary School, a plan was put into place to salvage the gymnasium floor and install it in the alumni room at MLS. We are extremely appreciative for all those who offered their time and effort in making this a reality. An extra special thank you to Michael Witte (class of 1975) and John Muriello (class of 1973) for the countless hours of dedication and skill that you donated to this project. Your efforts are GREATLY appreciated!
